Break-Lines

Nothing is complete, nothing is the way it looks, everything is always different.

In recent years my work has come intuitively to break lines, the lines where displaced layers break through reality's apparent surfaces, lines that cut and mark faces.

These lines rise inescapably through my subconscious.  But I need to investigate them rationally and polish them to bring out their inner depths.

It is a process.  Not a theme!  Only wonderment itself is the only constant.
